We are Bas and Tessa and we live with our son. We have a toller (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever) named Murphy. We wanted a toller because it’s a breed we can work with and we both liked the standard of the breed. Where we live is a lot of water and that’s a good environment for a toller. Four years ago we got a toller from the breeder De tevreden rakkers. The first weeks of Murphy’s life were very important. Anneke and Rob did a great job and we are still very thankful for the good start of our dog.
We wanted a dog who can be used for working, but also kept as a family dog. Murphy is very gentle with our son and they like eachother very much.
Because Murphy is a very gentle and steady dog, we decided to use him for breeding. Murphy have enough qualities to be used for breeding. He’s registered on the list for breeding of the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club Nederland. First we did several health tests and the results of this tests can be found at the page health.
